Peak Medical Wellness is an in person and/or telehealth platform designed to be simple for our patients. Treatment can be started in just three easy steps:
1. After clicking our “Book Now” button, schedule an appointment and complete a medical intake form. It may be necessary in some instances such as hormone therapy to have lab work done to verify a medical need for treatment.
2. Speak to your provider through a virtual telehealth appointment in the comfort of your own home.
3. If medically appropriate, receive your medication in the mail every 30-days, or 60-days, or 90-days from our mail order pharmacy provider (depending on your provider’s decision).
Your provider will be there along the way to provide ongoing care for your weight loss journey. With that in mind, Peak Medical Wellness is designed for patients seeking long-term care.
-
Our top priority at Peak Medical Wellness is ensuring patient safety. During your telehealth consultation, a provider will thoroughly examine your individual medical history, current medication regimen, and other pertinent health details to align them with your wellness objectives. Following the telehealth session, a prescription will be forwarded to one of our FDA-regulated sterile compounding pharmacies, facilitating direct delivery of the supplements to your doorstep.

The specific prescription recommended by your specialist will be determined by factors such as your medical history and individual needs. In cases where it's suitable, your specialist may suggest GIP/GLP-1 medications like semaglutide, tirzepatide, or liraglutide.
If your current treatment regimen isn't delivering the desired results, don't hesitate to discuss potential modifications or alternative options with your healthcare provider. If you find yourself dissatisfied with your treatment plan, you have the freedom to cancel it at any time.
-
Semaglutide is FDA approved to treat type 2 diabetes under the brand names Ozempic, Wegovy, and Rybelsus. However, only Wegovy has approval for use in managing weight.
Semaglutide belongs to a class of medications known as glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonists. It mimics the GLP-1 hormone that is released in the gastrointestinal tract in response to eating.
One role of GLP-1 is to prompt the body to produce more insulin, which reduces blood glucose (sugar). GLP-1 in higher amounts also interacts with the parts of the brain that reduce appetite and signal a feeling of fullness.
When you eat, your digestive tract releases the GLP-1 hormone, prompting the body to create more insulin. It can also send fullness signals to the brain.
-
Tirzepatide is sold under the brand names Mounjaro and Zepbound. It’s both a glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) and GLP-1 receptor agonist.
Zepbound was recently approved by the FDA for chronic weight management.
-
Tirzepatide and Semaglutide are type 2 drugs that doctors often prescribe for weight management. While Tirzepatide may potentially be more effective because of how it works, current research is incomplete. It’s too early to know for sure which drug is more effective — especially for people without diabetes.
Several studies show that Tirzepatide is more effective in helping individuals with type 2 diabetes lose weight. Your doctor can offer the best guidance on different weight loss options and what medications may be best for you.

The FDA-approved brand name drugs, such as Wegovy®, Ozempic®, and Saxenda®, are exclusively available from the Novo Nordisk™ company. Mounjaro™ and Zepbound™ are exclusively available from Eli Lilly and Company™.
Peak Medical Wellness™ does not claim any affiliation with, or endorsement from, the above mentioned products or entities. We do not offer any of the above mentioned products, anyone seeking said products should discuss options with their licensed healthcare provider or pharmacist.
We offer exclusively compounded medications, which are made in State Board of Pharmacy licensed sterile compounding pharmacies, or FDA-licensed 503(b) Outsourcing Facilities. While these facilities are strictly regulated, the compounded medications they make are not FDA-approved, as they are compounded based on an individual provider's prescription for a specified patient. Strength, dose, route of administration, and other variables may make compounded medications different from FDA-approved drugs which makes directly comparing results & risk profile between FDA-approved drugs and compounded drugs difficult.
Any compounded drugs prescribed are based on a licensed provider's medical judgement conducted in person or via a telehealth encounter.
